Try it: plan a renewal reminder schedule from fixed rules

This is the working version of the renewal reminder tutorial. It reads a member list you open or paste, applies the notice days, grace window and skip rules you write, and returns a dated schedule. Members who renewed, opted out, resigned or have no email are left off, and each one is listed with a reason. It plans dates only and sends nothing.

Open a member CSV file (optional) Member list (header row, then one member per row)

Columns: member_id, email, expiry_date, status, renewed_on, opted_out. Dates are YYYY-MM-DD.

The notice days, the 70 grace days and the 3-day gap are example settings, not standards. Replace them with your own.

How this lab works

The rules decide. Each date is the expiry date plus the days you wrote, moved to a weekday if you ask. No model is involved.
Every drop has a reason. A notice is dropped when its date is already past, the member renewed on or before it, it falls after the grace window, or it sits too close to the previous notice.
The settings are examples. The notice days and the 70-day grace window are ours, not a standard. No source tested them.
It knows dates only. It has no time zones, send hours or holidays, and it holds one expiry date per member.
The sample is synthetic. It is seven invented members. It shows what the rules do, not how your list will behave.
Local only. The script is served from this site and the page makes no other request for your list. The tables show the first 500 rows. The downloads hold every row.
